About Us
Our founder, Anita, opened a clothing store in Hamburg in 1970.
A strong, independent woman who wanted to build a business for herself, Anita grew the store over time, finding and nurturing designers, learning about the development and craft of garments, and building Anita Hass into Hamburg’s luxury retail destination, known for curation and quality.
Her son, Christian, learned the business and eventually took over, growing his own family in Hamburg and continuing to pursue the craft of clothing.
Now, with this heritage of luxury and knowledge of design, Anita Hass is a family-owned fashion brand, with our ready-to-wear collections designed in Hamburg and sold worldwide.
